Meet The Team

We are a small friendly knowledgeable team, offering a very personal service, getting to know you  and your pet as an indiviual 
  1. Jackie Tollerfield MRCVS
    Director and Veterinary Surgeon Jackie has a B.Sc. (Hons) Animal Science fromThe University of London and then went on to Glasgow Veterinary School graduating in 2002. She obtained a General Practitioners Certificate in Equine Practice in 2006. She started here at Dunton in 2010 and is proud to offer a dedicated 1st opinion GP Veterinary service. We currently look after more than 3000 dogs, 1500 cats and 200 rabbits.
  2. Clara Garcia MRCVS
    Clara joined the team in August 2009. She qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in Spain in 2009. She enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but is particularly interested in dermatology and internal medicine. In her spare time she likes spending time with her cockatiel Bowie and travelling.
  3. Monica Bevan VCA SVN
    Monica joined the Team in 2015 bringing 10 years experience from a variety of practices and veterinary emergency hospitals. Monica is a fully qualified Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) and has a HND in Equine studies. Monica is now currently studying towards her Veterinary Nurse qualification. Monica enjoys theatre nursing and has a particular interest in pet welfare and is always on hand to offer friendly advise.
  4. Michelle Fisher VCA
    Michelle joined the team in 2018 having 8 years experience at a veterinary hospital. She is a fully qualified VCA which she completed here at Dunton back in 2009. In the past Michelle has had several dogs, Staffordshire Bull Terrier being her favourite, along with a few other pets over the years.
  5. Kaye Nolan Reception (Good luck on MATERNITY LEAVE)
    Kaye started with the team in December 2016. Having had three years out to look after her young family, she has now joined us with a number of years’ experience in the small animal field.  Having previously had cats, guinea pigs and ferrets in the past, she now has just one very amusing family pet, Sherman the Hermann tortoise.  She enjoys spending time with her family, going for walks exploring the woods, and getting to know new people. 
  6. Helen Rowley ANA
    Helen joined us part time in 2015, having qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2013. She has a vast amount of experience in practice having worked in various other General Practices. Helen has a keen interest in exotic medicine and has 3 ferrets of her own, and 2 dogs; Pickle and Gomez. She also enjoys lab work, including microscopy and blood work.
  7. Michelle Fisher VCA
    Helen joined us part time in 2015, having qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2013. She has a vast amount of experience in practice having worked in various other General Practices.
