Dental problems

The teeth of rabbits grow continuously at a rate of about 2mm per week. An abrasive diet, such a grass supplemented with hay, keeps the teeth worn to a physiologycal lenght. Commercial rabbit food, whilst providing a nutritionally balance diet, do not provide the wear required for dental health.
